子供達が中学生になり、お金を学校に持って行くようになった。塾前の腹ごしらえに、おやつや飲み物を買うためだ。小銭でいいので、ごく小さな財布でいいのだが、適当なものがなく、家にあった何かのおまけだろう（まったく記憶にない）ファスナー付きの小さなポーチを利用していた。しかし、おまけはおまけだ…ダサイ！なんとかしたいと思いながら「ちゃんとした財布はあるから、べつにいいよ」という子供達の優しい言葉にあまえて、とうとう一年が経ってしまった。
先日、かわいい生地を見つけた。さまざまなポーズをとった小さなフレンチブルがたくさんプリントされている。一目で気にいった。よし…
まずは、型紙を作る。手のひらサイズで、おつりで小銭が増えることを考えて少し立体的に作成することにした。プリントに合わせて形もキュートに！
わーい！思いのほかかわいく出来た。
子供達にも好評で、お友達が犬好きなのもあって、仲良し５人組みにもおそろいで作ってあげることに。
