天気もいいので三保関目指して出発。
行きは空いているとみて、三次手前からR５４で行った。
思ったとおりガラガラ。途中、加茂岩倉遺跡の看板が見えたので見学。
銅鐸見つけた人はさぞかしビックリしただろう。
美保関灯台は景色最高だったが、沖にはサルベージ船、多くの報道カメラや僧侶、喪服を来た方々が居て、聞くと去年沈没した漁船が今日引き上げられるとの事だった。
遺族の方々の心情を思うと、少しでも心の平安が得られる様にと願わざるを得なかった。
美保関灯台は元の名を地蔵崎という。海難事故の多さから地蔵が沢山祀ってあったからだという。灯台手前にある佛谷寺に行くと、”みほ”の名前の由来が書いてあった。
”美保”と書くと大層美しいイメージが沸くが本来は”三火”が正解だろう。
帰りに吉田の菅谷たたらに寄った。
何度か来ているが何度来てもいい所だ。
今回のツーリング、新緑が綺麗、非常に快適だった。
CBRは結構回転上げて走ったのに燃費は５２ｋｍだった。
