この日は大阪の友達と安浦でボランティア

夕方から久しぶりにドリームに乗って島へ

1万回転以上回すのが楽しい、音がとドルルルッからキュルルーと変わって気持ちいい。

豪雨から何かとバタバタして忙しくアップ出来なかったので健忘録も兼ねてアップする

9月２日は広郷土史研究会の例会だった

講師は板崎勝孝氏。

今となっては数少ない11空廠の証言者、板崎氏は飛行機部設計課に勤務。

戦闘機のエンジンについて中島飛行機設計の「栄」、「誉」は三菱製「金星」と比べ全面面積が小さい事から空気抵抗が少なく設計者に好まれた‥

終戦直前は空冷式しかなかったエンジンも水冷式が導入された‥‥等々ここでは書ききれないエピソードを話され非常に面白かった。

また当会の会員でもあり、先日終了した「この世界の片隅に」で時代考証担当した相原謙次氏にも11空廠のエピソードを話して頂いた。

11空廠の工場跡地の広米軍弾薬庫について、ベトナム戦争当時東洋一の弾薬庫であってベトナム戦争で使用された弾薬のほとんどが広経由で運ばれた事等を話された。
